Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking Mid to Senior Electrical Engineers for our Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, and Billings, MT offices. You will provide electrical and controls design support for pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal projects with a senior team.

This role involves leading a multidisciplinary project team and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of Electrical/Controls experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and familiarity with P&IDs, PLCs, and NFPA 70.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5–10 years electrical or controls engineering experience; oil and gas preferred.
• P.E. is preferred.
• Proficient with P&IDs, IO lists, circuit schedules, PLC panels, loop diagrams; NFPA 70 knowledge.
• Construction support, site commissioning, and startup experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls design support for pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• Lead as part of a multi-disciplinary project team with a track record of 40 years in Oil & Gas.
• Train junior staff and communicate with peers, contractors, and clients clearly.
• Support project execution from design through startup and commissioning.
