Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid to Senior Electrical Engineer to support electrical and controls design for pipeline, compressor stations, and terminal projects nationwide. You will join a team of established consultants and lead in multi-disciplinary efforts while advancing your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in electrical/controls engineering, with Oil & Gas experience, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in Electrical or Controls Engineering, Oil & Gas preferred.
• P.E. preferred.
• Proficient with P&IDs, IO lists, circuit schedules, communications, PLC panels, and loop diagrams; NFPA 70 familiarity.
• Construction support, site commissioning, and start-up experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
• Willingness to train junior staff; strong communication with peers, contractors, and clients.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls design support for pipeline, compressor station, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• Lead role within a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Collaborate with consultants with 40 years in Oil & Gas experience.
