Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer in our Englewood, CO office. We will provide a training program that will allow our entry level engineers to quickly become active members of our design team.

Join a team with a 40+ year track record in Oil & Gas design, offering exposure to pipeline, pump stations, and terminal projects nationwide. Work will be supervised by a lead Electrical Engineer and involve development of design drawings, load calculations, and QA/QC support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of experience; ability to communicate clearly with peers, contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls design support for pipeline, pump/compressor, and terminal/tank projects.
• Produce design drawings: P&IDs, One Lines, Panel Schedules, Loop Diagrams, Cable & Conduit Schedules, PLC Schematics, Area Classifications, Grounding, Lighting Plans.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and routing, and generate electrical bid packages.
• Support QA/QC and conduct site visits; communicate with project team, clients and vendors.
