Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver, CO seeks an Assistant Electrical Engineer to assist project teams in designing electrical systems for power, process, healthcare, airports, and industrial facilities throughout the design and construction process.

You will support drafting, CAD work, client presentations, field measurements, and data research, while developing knowledge of codes, standards, and engineering practices; internship and EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Internship/consulting experience preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Ability to work legally in the country of Location.

Responsibilities

• Assists in electrical design from concept through design completion.
• Reviews production drawings for a variety of facilities.
• Designs electrical components per project manager requirements.
• Applies basic electrical engineering knowledge to tasks.
• Performs field inspections and measurements as required.
• Supports client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration.
