Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer to join our Building Design team in Baltimore, MD. Under supervision, you will contribute to designing electrical systems for diverse facilities.

This role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and the ability to handle multiple assignments while learning from senior staff; experience with AutoCAD is required, REVIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Prior relevant internship experience preferred for new grads
• Must have experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with REVIT preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Able to handle multiple assignments

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including lighting and power distributions for government, military, commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional facilities under supervision
• Support senior staff on Building Design projects in Baltimore, MD
• Prepare and coordinate drawings and documents for project teams
