Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Designer I (DT I) to design electrical distribution systems, perform field data collection, and assist with simple projects under supervision.

The role emphasizes learning basic design tasks, safety, and productivity in an office setting with field work. The candidate will develop foundational skills in distribution design, including overhead/underground circuits and coordination with clients and crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, and one year of work experience.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Performing field data collection and project-specific inspections accurately and efficiently.
• Producing high-quality computer-aided design drawings and a list of materials needed for the construction of simple projects.
• Generating permitting and other supporting documents as needed.
