Job summary

Clearwater Paper is hiring an Entry Level Maintenance E&I Technician at the Cypress Bend mill. The role focuses on maintaining machinery, supporting electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical crafts, and reducing unscheduled downtime.

Primary duties include equipment changeouts, safety compliance, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in a relevant environment or completed electro/mechanics program.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/production or completion of a technical program in Electro/Mechanics or Industrial Electrical.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect mill machinery to minimize downtime.
• Operate tools and equipment safely, including forklifts and cranes.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and change out equipment as needed.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety protocols; participate in root-cause investigations.
• Ensure environmental/regulatory compliance and proper documentation.
