Job summary

Clearwater Paper is seeking an E&I Technician for the Cypress Bend mill maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining machinery to ensure efficient operations and reduce unscheduled downtime, drawing on electrical and instrumentation skills.

You will join a team of qualified technicians. Responsibilities include operating a range of tools, performing equipment changes, and supporting safety and environmental compliance, while working a 12-hour rotating shift with nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years continuous manufacturing/industrial experience, or recent completion of tech program; associates preferred.
Understand and comply with safety procedures including PPE.
Physically capable of 12-hour shift, lifting up to 40-50 lbs.
Work environment includes temperature extremes, noise, hazards.
Subject to 12-hour rotating shift including nights, weekends, holidays; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain machinery to ensure efficient operations and reduce downtime.
Perform electrical/instrumentation and mechanical tasks including equipment changes.
Operate and safely use a range of tools and equipment.
Operate company vehicles including forklift and overhead crane.
Enforce safety standards and PPE; participate in safety investigations.
Inspect and maintain equipment for environmental compliance and reporting.
