Job summary

Noah Homes Inc. in Spring Valley, CA is seeking a Full-Time Direct Support Professional to provide attentive care for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and the community.

The role is an Awake Overnight shift in our Memory Care Unit, four days on and two days off, requiring night-time presence and teamwork to ensure safety, dignity and well-being for residents. A high school diploma and a Live Scan health screen are required; drivers license with 3+ years

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to pass a Live Scan background check and health screen.
• Valid driver's license with clean record for 3+ years.
• Empathy, patience and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care and supervision to residents.
• Ensure safety and maintain a secure living environment.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and bathroom needs.
• Perform heavy housekeeping tasks and maintain clean spaces.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement support plans.

Your Day-to-Day:

As a Full-Time Direct Support Professional, you'll:

• Compassionately provide assistance and supervision for all residents with personalized care and empathy.


• Ensure residents' safety by addressing their needs with respect and maintaining a secure environment


• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom


• Heavy housekeeping (mopping, sweeping, laundry, deep cleaning kitchen & bathrooms, etc.)


• Collaborate with a dedicated team to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Requirements:

Noah Homes Inc. is looking for candidates who:

• Hold a High School diploma (experience is a plus but not required).


• Possess empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.


• Are able to pass a Live scan and health screen.


• Hold a Driver's License with a clean record for more than 3 years.


• Are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, rewarding environment.

Working Hours:

The schedule for this Full-Time Awake Overnight position in our Memory Care Unit is 4 days on, 2 days off, rotating. This shift requires the staff member to remain awake throughout the night, providing supervision, support, and care to residents as needed.
