Job summary

Brightway Living and Learning in North Bellmore, NY is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with disabilities in daily living, foster independence, and promote well-being.

This role requires a valid NYS driver's license with at least 18 months of driving history and completion of Brightway's Transportation Orientation; new hires not meeting criteria start at $19.00/hour. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing training are provided.

The Role: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with them, assisting with daily living activities, fostering their independence, promoting their well-being, and helping them connect with their communities. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference. This position requires a valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with a clean driving history and successful completion of Brightway Living and Learning Transportation Orientation. New Hires that do not meet these criteria will be offered a lower rate, starting at $19.00/hour.
