Job summary

Sino Biological Inc. in Houston, TX, is seeking an entry‑level Downstream Associate to support purification and quality control in a bioprocessing environment. You will perform chromatography‑based purification and QC testing under supervision, contributing to project timelines and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
0–3 years of relevant lab experience with basic protein purification knowledge.
Familiarity with chromatography systems such as FPLC or HPLC.
Experience with protein QC assays (SDS‑PAGE, HPLC‑SEC, endotoxin testing, ELISA) preferred.
Strong documentation and organizational skills; ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Perform purification of recombinant proteins and antibodies using chromatography methods.
Execute downstream workflows to meet project specifications and client requirements.
Conduct protein QC tests (SDS‑PAGE, HPLC‑SEC, endotoxin assays, UV‑Vis) and analyze results.
Maintain accurate batch records and lab notebooks per internal standards.
Assist with calibration and maintenance of chromatography and analytical instruments.
