Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, build customer relationships, and help meet store sales and service objectives.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, knowledge of store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels. You will handle in-store and phone interactions, assist with DIY services, maintain inventory standards, and work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store inventory.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
