Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities spanning customer service, upselling, and basic DIY services while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating/instruction manuals, parts catalogs.
• Basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide in all units.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Support store cleanliness and general stocking; deliver parts safely when needed.
