Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support our DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and inventory maintenance, with the ability to source from multiple channels.

It can be part-time or full-time and safety certification is preferred. Key duties include delivering excellent sales experiences to DIY customers, meeting personal sales goals, providing services like battery installation

Qualifications

Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers and team
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
Use basic math for everyday tasks including transactions and measurements
Be available to work days, evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and over the phone
Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets
Deliver DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
Maintain store product and operational standards
Oversee inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts and back stock
