Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and drive sales objectives. The role requires solid knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

It can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, personal sales goals, and DIY services such as battery installation and testing.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store inventory processes.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
