Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. You will use store systems, apply basic automotive knowledge, and assist customers with parts and services in a fast-paced retail setting.

Role may be part time or full time, with responsibilities including battery installations, inventory maintenance, and safe parts delivery. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• English language skills required; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use store systems, POS and parts lookup systems.
• Basic math and communication skills for DIY customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Meet personal sales goals and support store sales objectives.
• Perform DIY services like battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain inventory and store operating standards; assist with cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers and assist with inventory tasks.
