Spear D Construction is seeking a dependable Dirt Laborer – Tech I to join our grading and earthwork crews. This entry-level position supports site preparation, excavation, grading, backfilling, and compaction on local projects, working alongside experienced crew members to ensure safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, follows directions, and is eager to learn heavy civil construction skills while contributing to project success with a strong work ethic and teamwork.

Mansioni

• Assist grading, excavation, earthwork, and site preparation.
• Perform general labor duties: digging, shoveling, raking, and moving materials.
• Help level subgrade and base materials.
• Assist with backfilling, moisture conditioning, and compaction.
• Operate basic hand tools and small construction equipment as trained.
• Support equipment operators with grading and material placement.
• Maintain grade stakes, elevations, and jobsite markings.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
