Spear D Construction is seeking an experienced Dirt Operator – Tech III to join our grading and earthwork crews. The role involves operating heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, site preparation, backfilling, and compaction on heavy civil projects, working closely with Foremen and crew members for safety and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has extensive heavy equipment experience, understands grading techniques, and takes pride in productivity, equipment safety, and quality
Competenze
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, grading, excavation, and earthwork.
- Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy construction equipment.
- Understanding of grade control, elevations, slopes, drainage, and compaction requirements.
Mansioni
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, motor graders, excavators, loaders, skid steers, and rollers.
- Perform grading, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation.
- Read and follow construction plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
- Maintain safe, organized, and clean jobsites.
