Job summary

NXP Semiconductors seeks an early‑career verification engineer in Austin, TX to help develop test scenarios and run simulations under team guidance. You will assist with debugging, maintain test environments, and improve verification coverage while collaborating with design and methodology teams.

You will contribute to reporting findings, status, and next steps, and support continuous improvement of verification practices through learning and teamwork. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

  • Recent Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline, within past two years.
  • Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
  • Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
