Job summary

NXP is seeking an entry-level engineer in the United States to contribute to digital design activities, implement checks, simulations, and maintain design records. You will assist with coding, reviewing, and debugging digital logic under guidance from senior engineers.

Work closely with verification, physical design, and validation teams to enable project execution, and contribute to engineering quality, learning, and teamwork throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications

• Recent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field.
• Hands-on lab or project experience is a plus.
• Willing to learn quickly and work with engineering teams.
• Strong fundamentals, problem solving, testing and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements/Qualification:

• Recent Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline, within past two years
• Hands‑on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
• Familiar with role‑related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
