Job summary

NXP in Austin, Texas is seeking an entry-level Validation Engineer to support test setups, run validations, and document results. You will collaborate with design, systems, and software teams to understand expected behavior and resolve issues, while helping maintain validation plans and reports for project visibility.

The role emphasizes product quality, technical learning, and disciplined test execution, with an opportunity to grow in a hands-on lab environment. Anticipated hire date is Q1 2027.

Qualifications

• Recent Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in EE, Electronics, Computer Engineering, CS, Physics, or related field within past two years.
• Hands-on lab work, design projects, internships, coursework or student competitions is a plus.
• Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

• Familiar with role‑related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
