Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks a summer internship in digital design. You will contribute to design implementation, checks, simulations, and documentation, and assist with coding, reviewing, and debugging digital logic under guidance from senior engineers.

You will collaborate with verification, physical design, and validation teams, maintain design records, test results, and contribute to engineering quality and teamwork throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
• Willingness to learn quickly and communicate technical ideas clearly.

• Contribute to engineering quality, learning, and teamwork throughout the development cycle.

Requirements/Qualification:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
• Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
