NXP Semiconductors is seeking an entry-level validation engineer in Austin, TX. You will contribute to validation activities, prepare setups, run tests, collect data, and summarize results to support product quality and project visibility.

You will collaborate with design, systems, and software teams, help debug issues, and maintain validation plans and technical records. Strong English communication and a willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Recent Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related discipline within past two years.
  • Hands-on lab work or project experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with engineering, design, verification, programming or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

  • Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
  • Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
