Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking an experienced Truck Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers across our nationwide network. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs in a professional and cooperative manner, helping bring travelers back to the road safely and efficiently.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in truck service or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills.
• ASE certifications not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within your capabilities and as written.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to customers.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
• Work with management to ensure repairs meet standards.
