Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking an entry-level Diesel & Trailer Technician in Opelika, AL. The role offers $26.75–$30.50 hourly, with night shift differential of $2/hour and growth opportunities in a team-focused environment.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, assist with inspections, and support repair work on trailers and reefers, with occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Toolbox and required tools must be available or obtainable.
• Team player mindset and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension components.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep shop clean, safe, and efficient.
