Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to support our growing fleet service operations in Auburn, IN.

You0will perform preventative maintenance on trailers, diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems, and take on road service calls. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year shop experience with DOT inspections, a valid drivers license, and a toolbox of essential tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum
• Reefer unit experience is a plus
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
