Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is hiring an experienced Trailer Technician to join our service team. We’re a premier fleet maintenance and refrigeration solutions provider for the transportation industry, offering hands-on work with diverse trailer systems and on-site or mobile service options.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose electrical systems, and repair tires, brakes, and suspension. Occasional travel, teamwork, and a safety-first mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep our shop clean, safe, and efficient.
