Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to support our fleet service operations in Harrisonville, MO. You will perform preventative maintenance on trailers, inspect DOT/FHWA, and diagnose and repair brakes, tires, and suspension components.

Welding and fabrication with steel/aluminum are also part of the role. We offer a flexible schedule (3x12 or 4x10), shift differentials for 2nd/3rd shifts, ASE certification incentives, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain a toolbox and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
