Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Harrisonville, MO, is hiring a Trailer Technician to perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repair brakes, tires, and suspensions on trailers.

You will work with a team in a full-time role offering flexible shifts, shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts, ASE incentive opportunities, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health coverage, HSA contributions, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems; weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
