Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is hiring an entry-level Diesel & Trailer Technician to join our service team in Arcadia, FL. You’ll perform preventative trailer maintenance, handle DOT/FHWA inspections, and assist with tires, brakes, and suspension repairs.

Knowledge of electrical and ABS troubleshooting helps, and you’ll be ready to take on road service calls as needed. A valid driver’s license and your own toolbox are required. We offer ASE certification pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Team player mindset and a professional attitude.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep our shop clean, safe, and efficient.
