Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to join our service team in Bedford, PA. The role involves preventative maintenance, DOT/FHWA inspections, tire/brake/suspension work, electrical/ABS troubleshooting, welding, and occasional road calls.

Refrigeration/trailer experience is a plus. We offer shift differentials for night work, ASE certification pay, PTO from day one, and comprehensive medical plans with a company HSA, plus life and long-term disability

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Team player mindset and a professional attitude.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep our shop clean, safe, and efficient.
