Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is hiring an Entry-Level Diesel & Trailer Technician to join our service team in Monroe, GA. The role involves preventative trailer maintenance and on-site inspections, with opportunities to work on electrical systems and brake/suspension components.

You will travel occasionally, operate shop and field duties, and collaborate with a skilled team. Excellent benefits and shift options reflect our commitment to growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must possess a toolbox and the required tools.
• Team player mindset and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep our shop clean, safe, and efficient.
