Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to support our expanding fleet services in Wintersville, OH. The role emphasizes preventative trailer maintenance, DOT inspections, tire and brake repair, and electrical/ABS diagnostics.

A driver's license and basic shop tools are required, with opportunities for ASE certification incentives. Joining our team means safety-first work, strong teamwork, and hands-on growth in a leading fleet maintenance and refrigeration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
