Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Wintersville, OH is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to support our growing fleet maintenance operations. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and refrigeration units, including brakes, tires, suspensions, and electrical systems.

This full-time role offers shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, ASE incentive opportunities, and generous benefits, with PTO from day one and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
