Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Truck Technician in Wintersville, OH. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical, fuel, and brake systems, and service of trailers and refrigeration units.

You will perform FHWA inspections, ABS servicing, and trailer body repairs, while maintaining safety and quality in a busy fleet environment. On-site work with potential shifts; benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience performing DOT inspections, brakes, or PMs.
• Completion of a technical school program preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration units, and APUs.
• Diagnose and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and service trailer ABS systems.
• Perform FHWA inspections, tire mounting, balancing, and repairs.
• Repair trailer bodies, doors, and structural components.
• Complete interior and exterior trailer cleaning.
• Conduct APU service and general road service as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and company/customer vehicles.
