Job Opportunity: Diesel & Trailer Technician Trainee

Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services (CAMFS) keeps your fleet moving. Headquartered in Indianapolis, CAMFS is one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country, providing on-site mobile maintenance and repair services for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers nationwide. FleeTec Academy Program

Our paid educational program prepares you to become a full-time Diesel & Trailer Technician. We cover your tuition, provide tools, and pay you during training, eliminating the financial barriers typically associated with technical education.

Program highlights include:

  1. Four weeks of paid classroom training, with all travel expenses covered.
  2. Free technical education on diesel engines and truck repairs.
  3. Hands-on training with experienced technicians.
  4. Potential full-time employment as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic after training.
Compensation & Responsibilities
  • Starting pay of $13.08/hour (or state minimum wages, whichever is greater) plus a $250/week stipend.
  • After six weeks, pay increases to $19/hour.
  • Further training at Indianapolis with continued pay increases.
  • Operate state-of-the-art service trucks to perform preventive maintenance and repairs onsite at customer locations.
Candidate Requirements
  • Desire to start a career as a Diesel & Trailer Technician.
  • Willingness to study intensively for four weeks away from home.
  • Maturity, focus, and passion for vehicle repair.
  • Ability to operate an iPad.
  • Must be 21+ to drive company trucks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Background checks, driving records, drug testing, and physical required.
