What is FleeTec Academy?

It is a paid educational program that leads to a full-time Diesel Technician position. It is designed for individuals who cannot afford traditional technical school, as it covers tuition, tools, and provides paid training.

Participants will undergo four weeks of full-time classroom training, with all expenses paid, followed by hands-on training with a Lead Technician and potential employment as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic.

Program Benefits:
  • Four weeks paid classroom training with all expenses covered.
  • Free technical education and tools.
  • Hands-on training and a full-time position upon completion.
  • Work involves preventative maintenance and general repairs at customer locations, not roadside emergency repairs.
  • Competitive pay rates and a clear pathway for raises.
Pay Details:
  • $13.08/hour (or minimum wage) + $250/week stipend.
  • $19/hour after six weeks.
  • Additional four-week training at Indianapolis at $19/hour + stipend.
  • Upon graduation, $21/hour.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Desire to become a Diesel Technician.
  • Willingness to study intensively for four weeks.
  • Ability to dedicate four weeks away from home.
  • Technical aptitude and passion for vehicles.
  • Ability to operate an iPad.
  • Must be 21 or older to drive our trucks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Background checks, driving records, drug testing, and physical required.
