Job summary

Okta in Chicago is seeking a Developer Support Associate to work with customers, delivering operative support, maintenance, and service as the entry-level member of the global Support Team. You will act as the voice of the customer to ensure guidance aligns with SLA and best practices.

This role is geared toward new graduates graduating between December 2025 and August 2026, residing in Chicago, and participating in a weekend rotation to support 24x7 services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical disciplines; equivalent related professional experience.
• Knowledge of software development fundamentals and common architectures.
• Understanding of HTTP, encryption, and basic security concepts.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization concepts such as SSO or MFA.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain customers who have implemented the Customer Identity Cloud SaaS solution, resolving technical and non-technical issues within SLA.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Work as part of our extended support team, collaborating across departments to exceed customer expectations.
