Job summary

Next Level Technician in Reno, NV is seeking an Entry Level Data Center Technician. Training provided and hands-on experience with cat5e/cat6 structured cabling, data/voice jacks, racks, patch panels, and CCTV access control systems.

The role requires 0–2 years in low voltage or construction, willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, and reliable transportation to Reno-area job sites. Weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow with BICSI-certified training are offered.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of low voltage or construction experience (entry level candidates encouraged to apply).
• Interest in structured cabling, telecom, or security systems.
• Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling, terminating, dressing, and labeling CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Learn to test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers.
• Support punch-down of voice and data jacks.
• Help install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
