Job summary

Next Level Technician is hiring an Entry Level Data Center Technician in Jeffersonville, IN for a 3-month contract. Ideal candidates have 2–3 months electrical or cabling experience and are eager to grow in data center infrastructure, including fiber optics and structured cabling.

Pay ranges from $17-$22/hour based on experience, with hands-on training and opportunities for advancement. Starting with basic tools, you’ll join a team on large-scale projects and receive benefits such as PTO and

Qualifications

• 2–3 months of electrical or cabling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on active construction sites.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Safety-minded attitude and willingness to take direction.
• Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling, routing, dressing, and labeling low-voltage and fiber optic cabling
• Support installation teams with data center build-outs and infrastructure projects
• Use basic hand tools and follow installation standards
• Assist with material staging, site organization, and cleanup
• Follow all site safety requirements and properly utilize PPE
• Work alongside experienced technicians to develop technical skills
• Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
