Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking personnel for a contract, fully onsite role in Social Circle, GA. You will lay out and install wireway, run cable, build closets, terminate IDC connections, and install grounding for racks and equipment. Some work may be indoors or outdoors in data centers.

The shift is Monday–Friday, 6am–5pm, with pay $22–$26 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Experience in fiber, Cat6 termination, and rack-and-stack is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools
• Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements
• Must know the universal communications color codes

Responsibilities

• Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices.
• Will build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware).
• Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
• Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).
• Looking for individuals that can work inside and outside building out the data centers.
