Job summary

Service Champions in Brea, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Data Analyst, Inventory & Operations to optimize inventory and purchasing decisions. This in-office role offers hands-on analytics experience, inventory management, and operational reporting for early-career professionals.

You will work with Excel-based tools, analyze large datasets, and collaborate with operations to drive accuracy and efficiency in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills with VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
• Basic understanding of inventory processes or accounting principles.
• Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile inventory data across systems, including ServiceTitan and WMS
• Prepare and analyze daily, monthly, and quarterly inventory reports
• Perform variance analysis, identify discrepancies, and process adjustments
• Support cycle counts and year-end inventory reporting
• Investigate differences between physical inventory and system records, providing root cause insights and solutions
• Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based tools and reporting dashboards
• Support SKU cleanup and data integrity initiatives, including documentation of processes
• Partner with operations and purchasing teams to improve accuracy and efficiency
