Job summary

Buckland is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support customs documentation and shipment processing. You will review and enter customs documents, ensuring accuracy while adhering to procedures and timelines.

The role involves coordinating with clients and brokers, answering queries, and tracing shipments to pre-arrivals at Customs. A background in customs/logistics and basic software skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role.
• Experience with customs brokerage software preferred.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Basic LVS program knowledge (CND Only).

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers.
• Prepare customs and internal documents accurately with guidance when necessary.
• Handle client queries in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• Contact clients or other brokers to request additional documents or information if needed.
• Respond to calls and questions from internal and external sources.
• Trace shipments and set up pre-arrivals at Customs.
• Proper escalation and reporting of any issues or delays to Team Leader.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
