Job summary

GCI Communication Corp is seeking an entry‑level sales associate to support our Nome retail locations in Alaska. You will use product knowledge and friendly service to help customers choose plans and devices, while aiming to meet or exceed sales goals.

This role requires reliable attendance, basic math for transactions, and the ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends. Training on GCI products and promotions will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.
• Ability to learn product lines and pricing plans.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed all performance and sales goals/metrics.
• Identify and upsell additional products and services to new and existing customers.
• Create a first-class customer service experience.
• Assist customers in selecting the best plan and product for their needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and communicate with other departments as needed.
• Consult with customers to determine their needs.
