Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. in Indiana seeks a qualified applicator to apply products safely and accurately to labeled crops using company equipment. You will build and maintain customer relations and report field conditions to the location manager during operations.

You’ll need to follow all laws and safety rules, obtain/maintain state commercial applicator certification, perform daily equipment checks, and keep accurate logs. Overtime may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; experience can offset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
• Must obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification; Ag CDL may be required.

Responsibilities

• Apply dry fertilizer products and lime safely and efficiently.
• Use equipment data to apply correct products at correct rates.
• Assist with mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting crop products.
• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements in handling products.
• Maintain applicator certifications and stay current with requirements.
• Inspect equipment daily before and after field applications.
• Keep logs up to date for applicator and equipment.
• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with rinsing and washing guidelines in-field and at location.
• Assist teammates in physical tasks for operating location.
• Support scouting, product transport, and customer services.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies.
