Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a qualified applicator to provide safe, accurate application of crop protection products, fertilizer, and lime.

You will operate and maintain farm equipment, assist with loading and mixing, and communicate field conditions to customers and the location manager as part of daily duties. This role requires a valid driver’s license, state commercial applicator certification, and an Ag CDL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year crop application experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• State commercial applicator certification and Ag CDL.
• Ability to read labels, maps, tickets and SDS sheets.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Apply crop protection, fertilizer and lime safely and efficiently.
• Use application equipment data to ensure correct products and rates.
• Assist mixing, loading, unloading and transport of products.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and post-application checks.
• Maintain logs for applicators and equipment as required.
• Calibrate and follow preventive maintenance per guidelines.
• Follow regulatory guidelines for tank mixing and cleaning.
