Job summary

The Haskell Company in Florida is seeking an entry‑level Project Manager to support the Steel Shop and lead hands with supervision by senior staff. You’ll participate in management training programs and learn the company tools, standards, policies and procedures to grow your career.

You will assist with subcontractor qualification, bid packages, cost reporting, progress schedules and client communications, with travel as needed and a clear path toward project leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to monitor resources, budgets and schedules in a multi-project environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors; prepare bid packages and invitations to bid.
• Prepare and update cost codes and labor cost reports; assist with subcontractor payments.
• Update progress schedules and plan construction operations and sequences.
• Communicate with clients: reports, change orders, pay requisitions, and inquiries.
• Manage submittals, RFIs and related logs for project tracking.
• Assist in project close-out, including punch lists and final inspections.
• Travel as required; perform other duties as needed.
