Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction is hiring an Engineering Technician I for construction testing in Indianapolis, IN. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Engineering degree and/or certifications preferred.
• ACI, NICET or INDOT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sampling and perform field testing of concrete, soils, and asphalt during construction activities.
• Prepare written reports summarizing test results and action items.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, contractors and design teams.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings and safety training courses.
• Pickup test samples from cast or stockpiled sources.
