Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.
TheEngineering technicianis responsible for performing materials testing and inspection services for commercial construction projects. This work generally includes the testing of concrete during placement and soil during the mass earthwork phase of projects. Additionally, the position will likely include some time in our laboratory performing other support tests on concrete and soil. This position will require travel to project sites, that are usually day trips, however some short-term overnight travel is possible.
The bulk of time for this position will be performed between the hours of 7 am to 5 pm, however some early morning assignments should be expected. Additionally, some weekend work should be anticipated. Generally, 1 Saturday per month.
The base wage or salary range for this position is $18.50 - $23.00. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
