Emerald Technologies is seeking a Conformal Coat Operator I (Second Shift) in Saline, MI. You will support conformal coating of PCBs and assemblies, learning coating processes under supervision while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role involves masking, cleaning, fixture setup, operating coating equipment, and maintaining records. A high school diploma and a willingness to learn IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow established IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PCBs and assemblies for coating, including masking, cleaning, and fixture setup.
• Operate basic coating equipment under direction (manual spray, dip, or automated systems).
• Assist in mixing and handling coating materials per instructions.
• Perform visual inspections for coverage and defects using UV lighting.
• Maintain accurate production and process records.
• Follow all safety, ESD, and chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Report defects, irregularities, or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
